Nope that was with VDC on. I'm guessing the tires come with some sort of coating or they weren't up to temps yet being they were just installed.

It caught me by surprise but it was manageable. No damage...just a self induced pucker factor.

Yeah, they have some kind of gel coat or something to keep them fresh for longer. Glad to hear you made it through the ordeal unscathed.

What sizes did you get this time?

I went with the same 305s. Next time around I'll probably go back down to the normal size.

That's cool. Did they give you a hard time about dismounting and mounting them? My tire guy said that they were a biotch to mount.

No issues at Costco and it took less than 45 minutes. Just enough time to grab a nonfat swirl....lol
