I just mine in the center console and glove box. Easiest wiring I've ever done!

Which one do you have? I got the 9500ci myself, thinking of putting the speaker in the passenger floorboard. The controller... somewhere, and I'm not sure about the display/control panel. I'd love to have the display mirror thing you can get, but not about to drop $400 for a mirror...

So I dunno about those, but as long as I get the sensors cables routed into the cab, that's honestly the hardest part for me.

Got one from a friend its an xtr 558, not the best but it works. I was thinking about getting a 9500, saw a guy selling his for $350 here, but never replied back.

There's a difference between the 9500ix and the 9500ci. I have the latter which is a bit more of an install and is $1200. The ix is the window mount which I'm not a fan of personally.

It's not a newer model, it's a completely different setup. Whereas the ix is a window mount, the ci is a fully installed into the car. There are 2 laser shifters in the front bumper and 1 radar receiver. Then another shifter that will go over the tag. With a speaker, controller, and display.

Ohh, yeah, Jim told me about that on the way to Charleston. $1200 is a bit much imo.
