I had a 05 Limited GC with just about every option. All the little gimmicks like rain sensing washers and auto high beams were pretty cool. I loved it but at about 40K miles I started having major issues. The dealer replaced the steering rack like 3 times and it still wasn't 100%. But I think there was something wrong with the quadra drive system and they just didn't want to try to fix it. I eventually traded it in on my wife's Rav-4 (You should definitely check out the 4-runners, too). It spent more time getting repaired than I was able to drive it. From what I read I wasn't the only one that had a mess of problems with them. Supposedly they have fixed many of the quality issues with the new one but I wouldn't hesitate to get an extended warranty if I were you Matthew.

will, most of my friends that were gonna come to the party are not going to be able to make it so i think we are just gonna postpone the "official" shin dig. having said that, we'll be around all day saturday and if anyone wants to drop by and hang out you are all welcome to. adam, you should definitely run down and hang out for a bit if you can! we will still probably cookout on the grill for dinner it just won't be the big party we were hoping for. we're going to reschedule, talking about possibly a new years eve party or something if a lot of people would be able to make that. most people tend to have plans well in advance for those kinds of things. we'll figure it out tho, if not then we'll definitely do something in jan-feb.

no biggie. Let's wait until they get the Auto-x stuff figured out. I'm definitely a no go for New Years. My son's 1 year birthday party is New Year's eve. I can't believe he is already a year old.

The older they get the faster the years fly by...

I plan on cleaning my car up this weekend and posting it on the for sale forum so let me know if any of you guys are interested. I know most of you already have at Z but I thought I would try here first anyway.

Will, I doubt I will trade it in but if I do I will definitely will give you a shout.

Yep, I'm in Simpsonville. I appreciate the invite but I'm taking my concealed carry class this Saturday in Easley. Anderson use to be my old stomping grounds...I grew up in the big city of Belton.

LOL...that's about it brother. Not much going on in Belton...I lived there for 28 glorious years.

speaking of concealed carry...do you guys have your permit? If so, what are you carrying? I've got it narrowed down to 3 guns...the S&W 442 revolver, Glock 36, and the S&W M&P9c.

I'm working on getting mine as well. If you are truely going to carry most of the time, you may want to go with something even smaller. I have a glock 30. It's a bit bigger than a 36 but still very uncomfortable to carry. My dad carries his Keltec P3at all the time. It's easily concealable and comfortable to carry. There are a couple of 9mms in that size range. Just my . Good luck with figuring it all out.

no CC but i've shot a wide variety of handguns and assault rifles, no traditional rifles tho. my favorites were the M&P .45 and the XD40 in handguns and the UMP45 and AR15 in machine guns
