Jay, are you going?
|
I have my daughter this weekend. I might go. I told her to think of something to do or else I was going to pick an activity. I guess car meets qualify as an activity as long as she has my iPad to keep her busy. lol
I'm not sure though. |
Yeah, i thought my Dad was going to take my son on Saturday but he's not. So I don't know if I will make it or not. See what happens.

Got my handles painted the other day.
Too much sunlight in the pic but its the best I could do today |
I probably won't make it. My tires haven't come in yet and I doubt they will come in on a Saturday.

For sure! My son which is seven got an Ipod from his mom for Christmas and now all the cool stuff has gone to $hit. Im about to bash it with my 8lb sledge hammer. What ever happen to army men and the real cool stuff? Im NOT gonna have that kinda crap in my house! |
Anyone interested in two stock front sport tires? I think they are 245/35/19 with 60-75% tread left. I'll sell for $100.
I'm trying to clean out the garage before I move in a few months. |

If anyone around here wants them done call Brian at 803-799-0273 and tell him Chad Mack sent you with the bLack Nismo :) I am not usually EVER overly impressed and in this case i was... Very happy with the results |

As for the fading durability. They use the best paint out there (spies hecker, a german paint) and I had my 350z door handles painted for 7 years and no fading, scratches, chipping etc.... Trust me its worth it! I personally think it made the car look 100 times better... They charged me 100 bucks to do both... Its a steal to me |

I would love to see the matte black TEs in person.. I had Gloss black TE's and am leaning towards either Hyper blue TE's or Matte black and doing a red pin stripe (Time attack style)... |
Just the front tires needed replacing. The rears are fine. I forgot how much of a PITA it is to find someone who is capable of installing 275/30/19. The low profile combined with the stiff sidewall requires both skill and equipment.
COSTCO is my first choice but I didn't want to renew my membership. Walmart & Geralds = No Showzone was too far out the way so I went with a local rim shop (PM Tires). They specialize in 22's and higher so I figured ehh I'll give them a try. 30 minutes later he finally got the tire seated. |

Anyone want a brand new set of EVO-r carbon B pillars brand new for 40 bucks?
Reason I will sell for cheap is the gel coat on one has a slight wave when you look at the reflection at an angle.... They cost 150ish new, I wanted to offer to SC guys first -Chad |

Those new burning red TEs are sick. Wish they came in 19s.

Personally the Z with 18s for looks wise is not ideal since the wheel wells are huge... Also we need crazy wide crazy low offsets... Ugh this sucks I really want to do 19x9.5+12 and 19x11+5 but no monoblock wheels come in that low of an offset in the rear.... |
Yeah, that's pretty aggresive for the rear.

Ravspec said 4300 for hyper blue TEs includes limited edition black center caps and rays lug nuts (450 value) so not too bad at all. |

You are going to have to swap me calipers once you get them. Hyper blue with the red :shakes head: (superman style) ...............Gray would loook much better.:bowrofl: :stirthepot: |

My first set of Volks in 2004 were like 2300 for a set of TE37s, my 2nd set of LE37s were 2500 in 2006 and my last set I got in 2008 Gloss black TE37 was 3100... The go up every year ugh |
Damn a fresh set of RE11s in the front and the front Sway Bar on the tightest setting gave the front end Kung-Fu grip!
The official results aren't in yet but damn I was fast. I must have corded the old set a while back and not have noticed. The nearest competitor in my class was more than 1.2X seconds from my fastest run. That's lightyears in autocross. Each lap I kept on picking up 1/2 a second. Autocross season is here. This weekend I'm thinking about making the trip to ZMAX for Charlotte's opener. ZMAX is huge with runs in 60+ second range while topping out at 2nd. If you guys are interested google SCCA CCR (Charlotte Region) or SCR (Columbia Region) to find their home pages and registration links. |
