Hit a patch of ice in Mauldin going to work Friday morning and ran my Z into a ditch....dented and cracked the very bottom of the driver side front bumper...not much damage but probably will have to have the bumper replaced. Does anybody here in the upstate have body shop they could recommend?

I used Tatham in Easley did a really good job of matching paint. My wife parked a car behind me and I backed into it. had to have the rear bumper repainted. it was like 300 I think to redo the whole bumper.

HKYStormFront 01-20-2011 02:34 PM

matthew, will, others... ya'll free next weekend? looks like the autox will be on the 29th (saturday), it'd be awesome if some of ya'll could come out and compete then we can have a dinner meet after the event is over. this is weather depending of course... talked to Dai about coming up for the weekend as well. i'm gonna convince my friend dustin to come down and try his hand at autox in his nismo 350 too.

HKYStormFront 01-20-2011 02:43 PM

they usually get things going around 8am. location is still not set in stone which is why the official thread hasn't been posted yet. parking services is being their usual pain in the *** so all i can say is that it will be saturday at this point. hope will is free but i will understand if he can't due to the newborn...

Talked to Will he may work somthing out to come up

HKYStormFront 01-21-2011 11:06 PM

cool, lets see if we can get a couple more. what's great about autox is that you get to drive your car in a competition environment legally. granted you don't get to go 100mph, it will feel fast in the car. it's very fun and i recommend it!

Dave just doesn't stop talking period. He can talk about how many motors he has put in his neon for 8 hours without stopping for a breath. Don't ask me how I know.
