Looking at weather.com its supposely gonna cool down somewhat through next week. Hopefully we have some descent weather. It would be nice for change to just roll down the windows and cruise...

$hit thought I was on the mountain cruise thread, lol... either way same difference.

Rooskey 08-11-2011 10:49 PM

Info needed!! I scored this side job that may put a large sum in my back pocket. Obviouslly everything will have to go according to plan, but was thinking either a supercharger or some wheels (Stillen/BBs F1's). So what I would like to know is who would you go to when purchasing either one of these? If I go with the charger I will be installing it myself then trailering it to Z1 for the tune, so basically just need the best deal.

HKYStormFront 08-12-2011 07:14 AM

not sure on that one but congrats!!

Once you get the funds and you are ready to purchase let me know. I may be able to hook you up with a really good price through my buddy's shop. He won't make hardly anything off the sale so I don't want to waste his time unless you are ready to purchase.

As far as the wheels go, i have no idea. Tire rack sells them but you will probably pay full retail.

Also got traffic court for my speeding ticket this morning.

I think limp mode hits shortly after 240. I will have to double check though.

BTW - Your avatar looks like you are pitching a tint. Hopefully it's because your wife was sitting next to you. :roflpuke2:

Will, I checked out that link you sent me, and although it sounds cool to work there, the skills they're looking for, I don't have. I've never worked in this area...
  • One year prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, electrical, construction, auto mechanic OR mechanical military experience OR successful completion of a WIA-sponsored Pre-Manufacturing course OR successful completion of an Aircraft Assembly or Aeronautical Studies course offered by Trident Technical College.
  • Skilled independent craftsmen from the following industries: vehicle interior, electronics, carpet weaving and textile manufacturers OR fiber, plastic, sheet metal molding/finishing; siding, trim, injection and fiberglass molding operations.
  • Work from electronic models, manufacturing specifications and procedures, quality procedures and instructions, operations and work sheets and company and customer specifications and procedures.

Sorry dude. I didn't actually look at the qualifications in detail. And honestly if you are interested you should apply anyways. If they turn you down it's no harm no fowl.

yeah thing about jobs is, they never really pick people with exactly what they look for.

if anything says 1 year training, no training required. if it says 5 year training, basically you should be familiar with it

on a serious Note. he didnt eff up the Economy. US culture of greed and selfishness did. He inherited a slumping economy. His fault is not doing enough to help it recover.

Obama, nor bush, nor clinton, nor bush senior are responsible for the fact that CEO of failing companies give themselvse massive bonuses. Or the fact that unions demand much higher pay for less work etc etc etc.

On a less serious note. I gotta pee.

HKYStormFront 08-17-2011 10:19 AM

not to mention the Fed Reserve has been bending us over the table for a long time and now it's crumbling the economy
