Thats wild bro. You think maybe a rock was flung off of a truck or something? Or did it happen while she was opening/closing the roof? Thats crazy dude.

First off, is she okay? We had our sunroof on a g37 pop and fly off. Hope you get them for that! Red Dawn sign, just saying.

Honestly Hendrick Hyundai was the best car service I received in my life. Mirrored quality hotel service. There were times a loaner wasn't available and they gave me new cars of choice or even nicer of the lot to drive AND paid for gas every time. Every time I went for appointments they serviced me on time as well. Makes me miss the service after my latest Nissan trip :(

Apparently there was no one around. We didn't find any rock or anything in the car. I did some reading and it seems that Kia (and Hyundai, their sister company) have had these issues before. Hyundai has even offered a recall on it but Kia has not as of yet. Car is at the dealership so we'll see what they say.

Yeah, she's ok. Just scared her. She wants to drive my civic now (no sunroof).

Must be a binding issue causing the glass to explode under pressure (my guess). I dont care what manufacture it is they all seem to suck at sunroofs. Tinas Catty has been in three times for a leaking condition. It is good for now but who knows if it will last.

Huge change in plans....wife dropped a bomb on me last night and is divorcing me. So I'm doing everything in my power to change my orders and get diverted to another base. Was looking forward to going there too :P Merry X-mas

Hey that stuff happens. Been thru it myself. Best suggestion is to find a great lawyer unless you two come to a mutual agreement.
