I was thinking that too! Their customer support looks unbeatable too. Have you guys had any experience with the carbon fiber mufflers?

I have the cf with 18" resonators, also with their hfc. I absolutely love it. Amazing sound. A bit different than the SS.

And yes, their support is fantastic. Tony is the man.

I used them for my clear bra and am very happy. Haven't used them for tint, but I get the impression that clear bra is their forte, and they do some tint as well.

Hey do any of you guys have any advice on exhaust choices?

I currently have the 2013 nismo - looking to upgrade to something a bit "nicer" sounding for a lack of better words. I've been scavenging the forums but see a lot of different opinions. I used to have an ARK Grip on my Genesis Coupe that i really enjoyed. Decently deep, not TOO obnoxiously loud and def didnt drone a lot. It still sounded great when you pushed it though.

I'm really picking on fitment so i have been considering (both are around same price):

meisterschaft axleback only (can get asap lol)

and

Fast Intentions with 18" resonators (~2 month lead)

Thoughts?

I have either had or installed a number of different exhausts (Greddy, T1R, Invidia, Ark, Tanabe, etc.) I now have a Fast Intentions. When compared with these top names, the Fast Intentions fit better than 90% of them. I'm convinced it's the best exhaust for the Z (even though I hate the name of the company).

Isn't the meisterschaft really loud? I don't have any first hand experience with it.

yes, mine are the CF as well. I've had them on for about 10K miles. Getting a slightly yellowing effect but it's not horrible. The SS are probably easier to maintain but a little too bling for me.

Are we meeting up this weekend? Anyone find out of Cars and Coffee was happening?

Maybe we just need to get a Z meet at Wild Wings. I want to hit on that 19 year old waitress again. Haha

This is advice i love to hear!!!

The meisterschaft i hear is meant to be super loud with the full system but seems to be "normal" with just the axleback. They seem like big fans of the straight pipe. It seems that way based on videos of just the axleback.

Anyone use Morris Nissan service department? I recently had an issue with my gauges......they ended up f-ing up my shift knob to pieces

I bought my car from Morris but I have never taken it in for service. All dealerships are a cr*p shoot. Their pay scale is structured for getting jobs done fast not for quality work. I would definitely take your car back and complain.

BTW - I love your wheels. Any chance you will be selling them in the future?

Honestly I would probably save the money and go with SS. Would seriously consider having them ceramic coated or powder coated so they wouldn't be so bling. That's just me though. Most people have the SS and love them.

I thinK the SS cans would look sick if they were color matched to your wheels but I have no idea how hard that would be. Probably would take a professional painter to mix special high heat paint.

So get this. My wife is riding down the road today, just like she does every day, minding her own business. All the sudden her sunroof explodes on top of her. WTF! It's a 6 month old fully loaded Kia Sorento SX. How does this chit happen to me! ugh! All I got to say is that "Fing Goose Creek Kia better cover it under warranty or Kia will be getting a number of nasty calls."

Absolutely. I prefer the sound and I haven't had any problems...And I've beat the hell out of them at the track 5 or 6 times since they've been installed.

Yeah Kia is a PITA to deal with at times. My Mom's Sportage was denied warranty work on the rear brake module. I had to call up corporate to get it resolved.

I'm not knocking Koreans but they do have this belief that their cars/products are the best and nothing ever goes wrong. Getting them to admit something is wrong is making them admit to failure.
