Oil cooler, tires, brakes for me! Im glad I had an Auto!!!!

Any input for brake up grades would be appreciated. I am going with SS lines from Z1, and an looking for advice on an upgraded pad.

Rooskey, I'm thinking we need a shop day to do brakes. Do you know anyone with a lift? :stirthepot:

I take it you guys had a blast. I would have gone but I wanted to test out the new Eibach Front Sway Bar. I'm impressed on the street setting. It provided the extra bit of confidence I needed to go faster throughout my turns.

I came away with winning my Class and being within 1 second of a Super Stock C5 ZO6 on Hoosiers. I had the Beastie Boys Sabotage song in my mind during all my runs. I did spin out once. I just pushed too hard on the final turn but had I made I would have been right there with that C5 ZO6.

Instead of buying that set of Hoosiers/sport wheels on the forsale board I might just go with a set of Koni Yellows. Besides I seriously doubt I would be able to fit 4 sport wheels and all my race gear inside the Z, unless I trailer it or attach a trailer to the Z.

I was also told that the elevation could of made a big difference with our clutch (the fluid). Not sure if that is true or not but they did start to get a little off once we got to the top of 215. The sign at the look out did say 5,250ft elevation. If you ask me I still think its the pressure plate combined with a very heavy stock flywheel??

As they say on my favorite game show of all time "Come On Down!!" Give me a call and we'll set up a day to do it for sure. Plus we need to get some offroading trips set up for the near future as well.

My car is so dirty. Gives me so much anxiety. I might even go home early just to give her a good bath.
