What's up guys? I think it's about time for another mountain run. Below is the information about the route we did the last time.
Please vote on the date(s) that works best for you so I can finalize everything. YOU MAY CHOOSE MULTIPLE DATES. I hope we will have a bigger group than the last one we did in June.
Riverstone Pkwy to I-575 S - Google Maps
Scroll left to find the route in BLUE
1. Leave Canton Starbucks - get a coffee for on the road (point A)
2. Stop 1 at the overlook - take some pics and enjoy the scenery
3. Stop 2 if lunchtime stop at Chic-fil-A in Dahlonega with possible pictures at lake Zwerner just north of there (point G on map).
4. Stop at Vogel state park - not sure if we have to pay to get in, but maybe stop there for a minute.
5. Head back folks from the east-side can take 400 back south, other take rt 53 through Dawsonville to Tate, which is a nice route.
