So some asshat driving a G6 GT decided that he didn't want to stop behind the SUV attempting to make a left turn in front of him and dove into the right lane without looking or signaling. Luckily (and I don't believe in luck) I wasn't completely beside him/her because I was obeying the speed limit. Good thing the Akebono's do a nice job of stopping the NISMO on a dime. If that individual would have hit me, I could not have been held accountable for my actions afterward. Forget the insurance, I would have gotten my payment up close and personal...............

Glad to hear that you are OK and did not wreck the car. I personally have been in this situation and had the accident. :shakes head:

Guy was lucky they were already loading him into the ambulance.

geez talk about fubarred

Rogue370z 08-18-2010 08:32 AM

Story gets worse. Idiot tow truck driver drops the car off the back of a flat bed and takes out the rear of the car. Car is definitely done at that point. It was a really bad day.

Sibze 08-18-2010 08:33 AM

wow, when did that happen?

I think it was done just from the front of the car

January 2007. Link to an article on the car:
Juice Z - TunerZine.com - Your Online Automotive Magazine! Street Racing, Drift, Import Cars, Models, JDM

That is when I started building my 07 350z roadster.

I would agree; however I was still hopefull before it got dropped.

Jeez, that sucks

roplusbee 08-18-2010 09:41 AM

Ouch. I tried to go to the article, but the acadamy has the site blocked.

I used to talk crap about the Akebono's, because I am a Brembo fan, but now I am reconsidering my words.

Sibze 08-18-2010 09:42 AM

Was the car a total write off? looks like it

John@Z1 08-18-2010 09:49 AM

That was another sad day in Z history.
