thanks for the response, but really want to keep factory unit and just change out speakers with better sound and just add an amp in the back with 1 sub.

can u add or rather, replace factory bose speakers with upgrades(4 ohm) without bose issues and can you add a step down in the rear, for an amplifier for a sub any other way than pulling the head...
