The other BIG factor is that aftermarket kits..like STOPTECH..have
TWO PIECE FLOATING ROTORS which are lighter and run cooler. Those alone are at least $800 a pair...

Glad it worked out with the bracket fix. Good points...so weight wasn't an issue there. Like OP, I see you installed a TP...not an HFC. I wonder if TPs tranmit more vibrations than HFCs?

My FI Resonated HFC doesn't use the factory bracket...no problems with Gemini (350Z HR) flex sections. HFCs weigh much less than stock cats (mine weighed 5 lbs less each), so the need for bracing...

I have 08 350Z with Gemini. Had it on with stock cats..no problems..and now with FI resonated HFC..no problems. I wonder if your initial problem was caused by the test pipes? Maybe the fit caused...

I see you live in UAE where AVERGE YEAR TEMP is around 95F or so. In fact, from May to Sept, the Ave is 100F. I wonder if that has something to do with your problems? Just a thought.

You can order those (upstream 3 hole) high temp gaskets from BERK Tech direct. I'm doing this with my FI Resonated HFC...they also use RED RTV instead of gaskets.

I had that same dyno done in the US. It's to the HUBS (not WHEELS) and *may* read higher than a regular dyno, depending on calibrations. Mine (350Z HR) read 8% higher....+25HP.

My take on this particular mod (5Hp??)...crash bar removal is a no no, FI guys remove it for the IC...but that's for 100HP!:bowrofl:
