your research has already told you the Z is a BIG step up

assuming you (like me) don't have the money for a new vette or Porsche

the Z is the right choice of sports car

cars of other types...

Really a test drive is the only way you'll know, but

what I did was searched on the internet

I bought the Z as the best bang for the buck car that I could afford at the time

the Mazda wasn't...

I got the Z because it pulled nearly a full 1g in turns, ran about 5 sec 0-60

looked good and I could get the 370w/SP new under $32k.

My decision was all about bang for the buck.

I looked regionally and nationally

and found a couple dealers that deal in these cars all the time

you'll want to test drive 1 of course

new is better if you can afford it
