Heat gun, eh? Now we are talking. My only worry would be that I would ruin the surrounding paint with the heat gun. I guess you just have to keep it on a low heat?

I guess I can understand the theft deterrent side of it, but it basically prevents you from legitimately replacing your bumper seamlessly as well. I'm surprised I haven't seen more posts about this...

I hate to break it to you, but you will get chips on the 370 with or without the clearbra, this car is just so prone to them.

That being said, the clearbra will def help reduce the amount.

Unfortunately it's no defect all of us magnetic black owners feel your pain. On the bright side, MB can't be touched by any other color Z when it is detailed right, IMO.

I hear you on this - I guess one way to look at it though is that it could always be worse. The damage to your car is extemely minor compared to those who've had to do thousands in repairs.
