Yea i was thinking of taping off that area and just having the outer surface coated. Thanks for the info on the anodize guess that makes sense considering I have only seen it done on wheels.

random question, has anybody with vq3.7 attempted to color their engine pulleys? I dont see many aftermarket ones for the 3.7 available and I dont know if powdercoating will actually work or help the...
