Not entirely, but it definitely makes it quicker...

Not entirely, but it definitely makes it quicker to wind up to redline. On the bottom end, it feels a tad more responsive and easier to drive. I think it's something about the throttle mapping.

What I miss about the 350Z DE is the necksnapping whiplash inducing throttle response down low. In the 370Z, it's like traction control is still active.
