no, you need that, otherwise it will make the situation even worse!

make sure there is no more than 0.2mm play on each end. that pretty much fixed my kangaroo situation.

i have a backup set of stillens which i plan to swap out just the front if this happens to me....

when you do install next time though, make sure that the collars are like flush to the bushings -0.5mm each side.

actually you need to set the collar locks to fit completely flush -0.5mm with the bar on both sides. ive not had the bushing push out...
