hummmm... i only did my 09 and there was no need...

hummmm... i only did my 09 and there was no need to unplug the battery or do any reset procedure besides the simple initialization process i noted, so don't know..

i dont like adding unnecessary thickness to the pedals unless i want one of the pedals closer to me... so i prefer the factory oem pedal covers. :)

i suppose if the Z had telescopic steering...

yah, they aren't cheap but if you like the style it's great. :)

modshack has aftermarket ones that he designed with the manufacturer if you want to check those out. much cheaper than the OEM's.

DIY: Installing Touring pedals on your Base

Here's a very simple how to... you will need to provide one zip-tie.

Tools i used were:
10mm socket
Regular screw drivers (to remove bolt cover)
Wire cutter (to cut zip-tie)
Flash light
