more like disconnected to the clutch.

take it out and see. it's an easy 2min job. all you need is 2 functional hands, one needle nosed pliers, and maybe a flashlight.

missing the point. it's not to make the clutch softer, it's to remove the distortion from the return spring. the pedal return feels too linear from clutch-in to out while clutch spring itself is...

the clutch pedal in my 04 G feels heavy, but i get better feedback. when i removed the helper spring in my 09 Z, it made a world of difference. then got a century spring(?) locally from some guy...
