huh, that's interesting, but not sure... is the steering lock circuit even related to the pump? :confused:

would your issue been fixed by doing a ECU reset?

if something was broken (steering pump) the steering will feel VERY HEAVY so i think you might be experiencing slicker roads from temperature or aligment needs adjustment.
