use double stick mounting tape at the broken tab...

use double stick mounting tape at the broken tab locations (double it up if 45mil) and it will work just fine. :)

the a-pillar cover is just a painted plastic...

the a-pillar cover is just a painted plastic piece. might want to check courtesyparts.com if they can get one pre-painted in your color.
