i've wondered if the reason that the synchros have so much of an issue with high rpm shifting on this car is precisely because the trans is built so heavy. lighter smaller gearsets would be less mass...

yeah eventually you notice second and third gear...

yeah eventually you notice second and third gear take a while to come up to speed and get notchier if you force them, then it all snowballs from there.

there isn't really an issue with power shifting...

there isn't really an issue with power shifting so far as the pop goes but the synchros don't like it. the rings in the z trans have to be the slowest rings i've ever used, basically anything faster...
