if there is uneven pressure applyed to say 3 lugs...

if there is uneven pressure applyed to say 3 lugs outa 5 then yes that will put extra stress on the spacer.

could you possibly be over tightening your lug...

could you possibly be over tightening your lug nuts causing added stress on the spacers????
