Are you guys using torque wrenches to tighten those plugs? 25ft-lbs and I've never stripped one.

Probably overkill. But it's cheap and doesn't hurt anything, so why not? The first time you change you oil and wipe a shaving off that plug, you'll the purchase for yourself.
