I think it's because of the look of them that give them the boy racer reputation. Big wing, hood scoop, gold wheels, and a turbo. Not to mention, more "boys" drive them than actual rally enthusiasts....

Interior is quite cheap and boring. All you're really paying for is the power - which is kind of over priced considering you're not getting...
