You could try driving around without the spring to see if you like it. I personally don't like the dead pedal travel but my squeaking also isn't bad anymore

I used a ton of wd-40 and tried to spray in on the hinge of the pedal. Idk if that solved the solution, or if it just kinda shut up. But it's not as loud as it used to be.

What are this? Just annoying as fück. Not a traditional "squeaking" noise and it's starting to annoy me now.
