I couldn't get mine to squeal at all until I got them red hot, but I've heard them on other cars and they squeal all the time. I kept the backing plate from the stock pads, not sure if that helps. ...

Also the Hawk HP+ work well for auto-x as they have great initial bight, but they do dust a lot - as do the Carbotechs.

Honestly I think the XP10's are more track oriented. The issue with a track pad is that they don't work from cold, you need a couple of stops to get them warmed up. Wouldn't the AX6 work better for...
