You should probably leave the engine running for 5-10 minutes to ensure that it cools down evenly and you don't get hot spots. Remember the oil is cooled by the water so if neither is circulating...

What feel wobbly exactly? Is this during a launch with wheel spin or just punching it while rolling? It feels pretty rock solid to me under all conditions.
