I'm pretty sure I'd be more comfortable with a company that works on tops all the time rather than the Nissan mechanic who has only seen a Roadster when it comes in for tires or an oil change.

I have the Platinum extended warranty - something like 7 years or 100k miles. I don't have the paperwork in front of me right now but I'm pretty sure the fabric of the top is specifically not...
