I would not squeeze a 285 on a 9" rim as the minimum recommeneded is 10" wide wheel. It'll fit but there will be a lot of sidewall and slack and the car will feel sloppy. it won't look much wider but...

Ohhhhh you're gonna have fun tucking those fronts.....hope you have camber arms to adjust to make it work. You'll poke. I poke with 18X9.5 +20 on front at -1.8 degrees on Tanabe springs righ tnow.

Yup, the ones with the "Rim Protectors" on it...

Yup, the ones with the "Rim Protectors" on it will bulge out farther at the top and square up the tread and the sidewall causin the tire to sit wider where as the ones without the rim protector will...
