I used a heat gun and dental floss as well. I started at the left edge of the emblem and worked it up and down until i got about a 1/3 of the way through and then was able to pick it up and lift it...

Got mine in today and since it was raining, decided to go ahead and put them on...here is the finished look...pretty happy with the way they turned out.
