Good to know...I did some research so I'm going to be patient and not overreact...I'll wait until 15k miles and see, but I'll still keep an eye on the oil levels regularly.

Hmm...will it burn less as I break it in more? Surprised that 1,600 miles can burn 1 qt +.

I hope this engine doesn't burn oil at this rate...I'll do a search on this topic.

Just wanted to share that I changed the engine oil at 1600 miles (wanted to do it at 1k miles but didn't work out as planned). I was surprised that only 4 qts came out of my car with only 1600...
