I tried to keep the front serp pulley as large as possible for better belt wrap and leverage. It only has about 30 degrees of wrap to work with. Wouldn't it be better to carbonite coat the 3.12"...

We never dyno'd it to see. I'd hate to even guess. We just ran it on the break-in tune for the built motor. Then at 1000 miles pulled it off and sold the kit.

I do remember there being a ceiling...

That setup made 15+psi with no problems for around 1000 miles. I never got a chance to push it any further.
