No it is not. I think he meant, "tacky" as in christmas lights, holloween, easter, and thanksgiving decorations up all year long in a neighborhood bar type of tacky.:icon18:

I have about 5-6 coats of black and 5-6 of red on each handle. No chipping or flaking. Inside of the handle is starting to come a little loose, but I plan on trimming that off and re-spraying inside...
