Yeah the gear really gets us past the first barrier. I would highly recommend this if you want to run north of 8k rpm on your car. For the price it cant be beat!!!

Going to 8400 or even 8500 is fine on the stock motor for limited duration but you run a higher risk of breaking something. 1slow370 has been running 8700rpm on a stock crank for thousands of miles...
