Air, like most things, doesn't like to go around...

Air, like most things, doesn't like to go around bends. Air flow will be higher at the "outside" of the bend. With the split of the pipes before the throttle bodies, I suspect more air will flow...

To use a MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor to determine air mass would also require a manifold air temperature sensor, and recoding of the ecu logic. Not a simple task by any stretch
