I'm with Spooler - there doesn't appear to be a lot of damage so you may be OK. Clean the pad real good (brake cleaner) before re-installing. I'd inspect the pad and rotor after a few hundred miles....

I heard the reason brake grease is used on disc brakes is that drum brakes require it (where shoes rub against backing plate) so most mechanics already had it in their toolbox when discs came along....
