When I had a Z, I thought the phone quality was pretty decent, especially considering the source. Not great, but phone audio is never great.
Maybe the Nav system doesn't work as well as the Bose...

Does it sound that much different than in other cars? Telephone audio is compressed and only a small range of frequencies are used - ie, it sounds crappy to start with.
