i pulled the fuse for my 2009's steering lock...

i pulled the fuse for my 2009's steering lock right after i got it, i never hear it lock anymore

pulling the fuse or cutting the wire are not...

pulling the fuse or cutting the wire are not temporary fixes if you did them properly, also like a few others have said....THERE IS A RECALL ON THE STEERING LOCK!
