Yes you can buy the socket,but the problem with that is you can't see if it fits in the fog light.
The first pic shows the back of both sockets (JDM on left,Nissan brake light on right)

Take the plug out of the light and go to a local...

Take the plug out of the light and go to a local junk yard and ask them if you can look around and go find newer Nissan's,Acura,Infinity's and check their brake light sockets they have 3 wires 1...

If you replace the 7440 socket & bulb with a 7443...

If you replace the 7440 socket & bulb with a 7443 socket & bulb you can hook it up to your brake lights & tail lights at the same time.
