Most cars look like that, but it's better, even if it's not consistently climbing until the end, because the rpms fall to a happier place after the shift than they would before. It may not improve...

Yes, its just as fast as a 346ci v8 vette. It likes to rev. Rev it. You want low rpm power, go get a muscle car with a 455 or the like. Modern engines handle high rpm just fine. I have a 427 that can...

Cars with flat tq curves feel a lot slower than they are. Go race your 335 and compare. Second at 15mph in your z shouldn't be that bad. I found the car very livable at lower rpm. It gets nearly max...

Stepping on it at 10mph in 2nd? This is quickly becoming about driver error. My ls1 felt dead doing that, too. Even my z06 feels a lot stronger in first at 10mph. Most cars do. Same for my z06 in 6th...

Data suggests otherwise. The 5-60 street start test times are identical to the c5 Corvette with the ls1. Definitely not a slouch in the lower rpm band. Driving an ls1 car and 370z, they felt very...

On YouTube I get the impression that the 370z is equal to an ls1 fbody. A tiny fraction slower than an ls3 fbody, and transmission dependant vs. A c5. Very impressive imo.

I think the 370z is quick. It's not fast, but its definitely no slouch. Based on my test drives and similarly performing cars I have owned and YouTube vids, the 370z can hold its own and its a...
