Part of me thinks this may be caused by improper clutch break-in. Shudder with a new clutch is normal. Shift it hard or otherwise abuse it until it's broken in, and you may have more problems to deal...

Does Nissan use an adjustable clutch quadrant/cable? I thought it was hydraulic? No other clutch is adjustable, not the mustang, 'vette, camaro, or any other factory car I am familiar with.
