Also an option, if more pricey. I wanted to do Sway's mod but I have a Nismo so there's no fangs to attach the ducting to.. I'd have to buy brake cooling ducting ports or whatever. Too much $$$ for...

Not a noob question at all. They get more than the stock boxes. Sway has a decent mod in his build journal that forces more air to the filters. Super cheap to do too. I'd check it out.

I wrapped my Z1 intakes. No difference in AIT during regular and highway driving. Haven't yet seen whether they help in a heat-soak situation.
