Not saying you can’t make it work without...

Not saying you can’t make it work without ducting. It just seems like fairly common practice for the track folks to implement brake ducts to lower temps.

A quality brake ducting would probably serve you better than these shims

Edit: not saying these shims won’t help… but the brake ducts will make a bigger difference so those are probably a better...
