Hell, combine a modshack fang vent with that, and you've got ram air.

It shouldn't be too hard to fabricate something like that. They just need to make a mold of that badge shaped plastic piece from the front of the airbox, add a coupler to connect...

Actually, they could develop a boot for the end of it that would plug right into the OEM bumper inset just like the factory airbox.

If they do that, you've got a (theoretically) improved design...
