The car went in for its first service recently and I asked them to investigate the key light randomly coming on.

Despite having replaced both key fob batteries the dealer claimed my key fob...

Thank you all for the comments. I took it to the dealer today and they wanted to book it in for a day for tests.

Call me pessimistic but I will keep the car until the light stays on permanently...

Thanks for the suggestions but the car is six months old and I really doubt it was the fob batteries but changed both of them anyway The second fob has never even been used.

A week or so ago my Intelligent key light came on and remained on for a couple of days. I was resigned to going to the Dealer but the light mysteriously went out again.
