The cerwin vega requires a #8 power wire that'll need to be run from the battery. It also needs the remote turn on wire, I don't know if that could be picked up from the bose amp. I'm also not sure...

No. You need to run a #8 power wire to the new sub and you'll want to run the sub speaker wire from the head unit directly to the new sub.

It come's with a couple of extra bolts and bolts down tight against the spare tire the same as the Bose sub. There's no rattling at all.

It's actually in an aluminum shell and is heavy duty. It's nothing like the cheap plastic piece of crap Bose. I think you're going to be pleasantly surprised at how well it works.

I was skeptical when I bought it, I thought I might be throwing away $300.00 but I'm really impressed with how well it performs, especially for a sub that fits like the factory bose pos.

This sub sticks up maybe 3/8" higher than the bose did but when you put all the trim and carpet back down it...
