The 1/4" drop is so that when the doors are opened/closed the window will form a good seal on the weatherstripping. Supposed to raise again once the door is tightly closed. Not sure if the "trigger"...

Press the key fob unlock button once and hold it....

Press the key fob unlock button once and hold it. Doors unlock and windows go down all the way down. Release the button when the windows are all the way open.
