I would maybe consider getting a black license plate to keep it consistent at the rear end. $50 for it from the DMV and you can customize the plate no extra charger. There is a $50 yearly renewal...

It is illegal in California unfortunately, and it's a really easy excuse for cops to pull you over. If it wasn't my lights would be black as night.
